Biographical NoteEdward B. Lindaman (1920-1982) became president of Whitworth College in 1970 and retired in 1980. He came to Whitworth from North American Rockwell where he was director of programming for the Apollo space project. Dr. Mark L. Koehler was the first alumnus to become president of Whitworth College. After graduating from North Central High School in Spokane, Washington, Koehler enrolled at Whitworth where he participated in student government and starred in basketball and tennis.
